Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new flood-mitigating project in Tarrant. We need more projects like this in our City. For so long Tarrant has let other cities pass us by not aggressively going after federal and state dollars for projects. We have to start doing a better job of identifying federal, state and non- profit partnerships that we can use to build #anewtarrant.
